The Grosse Pointe 'Redbirds' Baseball Organization, which celebrates our 18th year of enhancing and developing the lives of young men, while teaching the lessons of life that come from playing baseball. The Redbirds, led by former Detroit Tiger and 1984 World Champion Dave Bergman, is committed to perpetuating a love for the game. The organization provides exposure to top players from the Grosse Pointes and surrounding areas who want to develop their baseball skills by competing at the highest level. We currently have 4 alumnus playing in the professional ranks and over 80 players who have gone on to compete at the college level. GPBO stresses academic excellence, high moral standards, discipline, respect, concern for others and a winning attitude in the development of their Redbird ballplayers.

2013 GROSSE POINTE REDBIRDS TRYOUTS FOR 15’s ONLY

Tryouts for the 2013 season will be held on 2 consecutive Sundays (starting the 1st or 2nd week) in August. Dates, field and times will be posted (by late July) as it becomes available.
